Megabytes can be expensive, especially when compared to what phone users pay in some countries. But here’s how to manage the little you’ve got:
1) Install and use apps as much as possible. For example, instead of going to facebook.com directly on your phone, use a Facebook app. Same for Twitter. You can even use a cooking app instead of going to the kitchen directly. Good apps are designed to be prudent with data.
2) This tip I just got: Airtel let’s you share your Blackberry data subscription or even consume it on a non-BlackBerry device. Here’s what you can do: put your Airtel SIM card into any BlackBerry phone and subscribe to any BB bundle.
